摘要
a genetic-based adaptive intrusion detection system is presented based on adaptive model generation and agent techniques in this, paper. Compared. with traditional centralized intrusion detection system, the new system distributes tasks. and data. to every nodes in the networks and uses a set of various cooperating agents to perform intrusion detection. Therefore it can make full use of the resources of hosts and networks. Further more, the intrusion detection, system that. integrates agents and adaptive model generation can configure parameters and renew intrusion detection models on. the fly. Through self-learning and self-improvement, the detection ability and the adaptability of the system will, be improved continually.
