摘要
Industry 4.0 has become an important concept in the manufacturing industry that increasingly drives change. However, the implementation of this concept is associated to business critical and expensive IT transformation projects, with which companies are currently struggling. We observed a lack of research on the practice of planning IT transformation projects towards Industry 4.0 and its modeling support within currently available EA tools. To investigate this gap, we conducted a series of expert interviews and a tool survey. As a result, we identified several drawbacks of EA tools that need to be addressed in order to be able to efficiently support the modeling and planning of such IT transformations.
