摘要
This paper describes the author's experience in teaching the module "Electrical Energy Systems" to stage 2 Electrical and Electronic Engineering students at University College Dublin, Ireland. This is a challenging module for a variety of reasons, including the large number of topics to be taught; the large number of students enrolled in the module; and the lack of motivation of the students that are not going to choose the Electrical Engineering programme in stage 3. The paper describes the teaching approach adopted by the author and compares it with previous approaches. Methodological challenges as well as student feedback are also discussed in the paper.
