摘要
Climate change and energy security have been global problems today. Energy conservation and emission reduction is not only one of the demands to cope with climate warming, but also an urgent and long term task in the process of global economic and social development. Dues to the important role of forest in energy conservation & emission reduction and dealing with global climate change, this paper presents a scientific and complete energy conservation and emission reduction evaluation system of forestry sector based on extensive investigations. This evaluation system comprises four aspects, such as the potential of trees bio-energy in energy structure readjustment, the contribution of china's forest projects to CO2 capture and storage, the effect of science & technology innovation in forestry sector on energy conservation and emission reduction, and the role of forest management on energy conservation and emission reduction, and was established using frequency analysis and expert consultation under the systematic, scientific, pertinence and operability principles. This evaluation system can be utilized to thoroughly analyze and evaluate the energy conservation and emission reduction task of china's forestry sector.
