Technical aspects of extraperitoneal laparoscopic appendicectomy

There are many articles about Laparoscopic Appendicectomy (LA) as technically simple operation, accompanying minor complications. Especially now, when the laparoscopic surgery is widely applied in clinical practice, it is ever more and more general surgeons improves of the given method. In clinic is executed 27 LA concerning acute appendicitis. Recently the technic of LA we were changed a little. After performing of pneumoperitoneum were inserted II mm trocar in abdominal cavity lower umblicus with consequent by verification of the diagnosis. The small incision will become immediately in a projection of an appendix, 11 mm trocar are entered in abdominal cavity under the videocontrol. The end of appendix is caught by a clip and drawn in the troacar. Then the trocar with the appendix are extracted from the abdominal cavity and on a surface of a skin is executed the appendicectomy as well as at opened operation. For rather convenient and adequate extraction of appendix with a part of caecum, a little dissected of aponeurosis and the pneumoperitoneum is removed completely, allowing to be descended forward the abdominal wall of maximum.
