摘要
The ships' routeing is one of the best means to improve the safety of navigation in crowding areas. The focus of the ships' routeing is the design of the separation schemes, the recommended speed, the width of the traffic lane and the precautionary area. In paper, the optimal channel is designed by analyzing the imbalance of the AIS traffic data; the optimal width of the traffic lane is designed by calculating the width of the ship tracks from different aspects of the AIS traffic data; the optimal position and the size of the precautionary area are designed though analyzing the density and the frequency of the encounter situation. These can be used in practice to guide the setting of ships' routeing.
