An Analytical Investigation on the Effect of Variable Wind Speed in Wind Energy Conversion Systems

摘要
The study of variable wind speed in real working conditions of a wind energy conversion system is a topic of great interest for scientists involved in the study of wind energy systems. In this work, a variable wind speed profile is considered in modeling the working regime of a permanent magnet synchronous generator associated with a wind turbine. A reliable analytical technique, namely the Optimal Homotopy Asymptotic Method (OHAM) is employed in order to obtain accurate analytical solutions to the considered electrical and mechanical governing equations for the considered wind system.
