摘要
In this paper the optical performance and complexity of polarization division multiplexed quadrature phase shift keying (PDM-QPSK) is compared to that of PDM orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (PDM-OFDM). The benefits and drawbacks of each modulation format are discussed with respect to the implementation, complexity and transmission performance. (C) 2009 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
