Contributions to capital and loans from shareholders in terms of commercial law, accounting and tax legislation in Slovakia

摘要
All business entities need to their business resources to cover respectively ensuring their business activities. The basic criteria for division of sources from an accounting perspective is ownership, and according to this criteria are known own and foreign resources. Own capital (equity) is recorded in the accounting class 4-Capital accounts and long-term liabilities, and own capital for accounting purposes is subdivided into share capital, capital funds, funds from profit, differences from revaluation, retained earnings/losses from previous years and profit or loss in approval. If the company does not have sufficient own capital, it can use a wide range of financing from foreign sources, where one option is also providing funds in the form of loans from the partners. Through the year 2015, were received of several amendments, some of them have entered into force during the year 2015 and some then from January 1st, 2016. Those new rules may for some group of businesses cause problems in ensuring their normal business. In this article we will focus to the part of own capital called deposits, and to loans from shareholders in the context of a commercial, accounting and tax law in Slovakia.
