摘要：
This paper presents a novel soft-switching topology for instantaneous reactive power compensation. The topology has a simple three-phase current source inverter stage, an inductor for temporary energy storage, and an auxiliary resonant circuit to provide a full range of zero-voltage-switching (ZVS) conditions for all the main devices. The proposed VAr compensator can dynamically provide both leading and lagging reactive power. The functionality of the converter is validated with simulation and experimental results.
