摘要
The objective of this study was to understand the current status and the relationship between professional growth and job satisfaction of Overseas Chinese School teachers in Japan. The questionnaire survey were used to collect the required data. After literature review, a questionnaire on professional growth and job satisfaction of Overseas Chinese School teachers in Japan were constructed as the tools for this study. The studied objects were 49 teachers in academic year of 101 in Taiwan. Data was analyzed with single t-test, independent sample t-test, single-factor ANOVA, and Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient, etc.. The results were drawn. as follows: 1. Professional growth of Overseas Chinese School teachers in Japan needs to be strengthened. 2. Job satisfaction of Overseas Chinese School teachers in Japan is lower than normal level. 3. Teachers' overall professional growth shows significant differences in different ranges of ages and teaching experience. 4. Overall job satisfaction of Overseas Chinese school teachers in Japan is low and has no significant difference. 5. Teachers' professional growth and job satisfaction are positively correlated to a high degree.
