摘要：
Influence of artificial topographic change of an inlet on the tidal response of an estuary is investigated numerically. The estuary has a narrow inlet to the ocean that has been stabilized by constructing a pair of jetties for recent fifty years. Using old topographic and bathymetric data, the tidal responses are simulated numerically for three different years and the results are compared with each other. In the simulation, a 3-D time dependent hydrodynamic model is used, which is verified by comparing with the field data of tidal oscillation in the estuary.
