摘要
The reference of the "socratism" oscillates between doctrinal contents that the old tradition fixed like own of the called "historical Socrates" and an "attitude" that implies to take to Socrates like a model of wisdom. But also it is possible to speak of a "socratic style" characterized by the antiacademicism and the orality. in the Spanish tradition the figure of the versatile intellectual is characteristic, in opposition to the rigid academic demarcations, in that the philosophical reflection appears intermingled with Literature, History, the essay or the critic of the art. In the Spanish tradition the socratic stereotype contemporary is a literary personage: Juan de Mairena de Antonio Machado. Sevillian and socratic like Mairena, Juan Blanco (1928 - 2002) is, however, a real philosopher who has developed to an extensive work like educator and commentator of classic texts. In this article we tried to show the way in which, in Juan Blanco, the socratism is constituted in a method that determines a philosophical style and a peculiar interpretation of the history of the philosophy.
