摘要：
The Semantic Grid and Knowledge Grid have been forming their research communities and are realizing the human aspiration on optimization. Semantics and knowledge are fundamental elements of the future interconnection environment. The first International Conference on Semantics, Knowledge, and Grid was held in Beijing, in November, 2005. This has become a series international forum across three areas namely semantic computing, knowledge networking, and grid computing. The Future Generation Computer Systems published the first journal special issue on semantic grid and knowledge grid in the year 2004. The first monograph on the Knowledge Grid was published in 2004.
