Screening of waste paper stock for producing graphic papers

摘要：
This article deals with screening concepts for the preparation of waste paper stock for various graphic paper grades based on household waste and taking into account the contraries contained, especially stickies. Comparisons of hole and slot screening, their efficiencies and the limits in slot size reduction are discussed. In conclusion, solutions for improving screening efficiency, such as connecting several screens in series, are given. The correct choice and arrangement of screening units for the removal of stickies requires a high degree of technical knowledge and a great deal of experience.
