Biodegradation of crude oil

摘要：
Sandy soil were contaminated with crude oil and incubated for five weeks under laboratory condition. Aspergillus flavus, Aspergillus niger, Curvularia lunata, Rhizopus sp., and Trichoderma sp. were isolated from this soil. Fungal flora were then retested for growth on liquid solution containing different concentrations of crude oil. Trichoderma sp, exhibited an increasing mycelium dry weight with increase in crude oil concentrations, while Rhizopus sp. the lowest degrade of crude oil. The results discuss the role of microorganisms on the biological treatment of petroleum pollution.
