摘要
This paper summarizes the history of the Hispano-American Biennial of Art -a mega-event now disappeared, which had three editions between 1951 and 1956- in order to point out some aspects of it that reveal the use of certain artistic practices by a political project for its circulation, approval and consensus. Likewise, the operation of this type of event -based on national representations-, and the regional name of the show, offer the opportunity to reflect on some questions proposed as subject of this issue of Boletin de Arte.
