摘要
One way to define what is right or good about a person's life has come to be called "Subjective Well-Being" (SWB). However, the research on SWB has so far mainly been undertaken in western countries. This study focuses on Chinese and Japanese adolescents, aiming to elucidate theconstruction of their SWB, as well as examine the relationship between school adjustment and subjective well-being with such individuals. In total, 700 adolescents participated (334 males and 366 females) in the study. The results show that SWB yields three common factors (self-efficacy, positive affect, life satisfaction) in China and Japan; adolescents' SWB is associated with school adjustment, and there is a positive correlation between them.
