Heritage ,Reunification ,Integration-the Thinking of National Traditional Culture and the Contemporary Design

From the history of modern design, we can see the facts which could not be ignored are that the language of traditional culture has been already expressed in the design, and the awareness of national traditions in the design culture is becoming more and more important in global economy and culture environment. This paper has re-examined the national traditional culture in the contemporary design from the perspectives of heritage, reunification and integration of culture in order to arouse the thinking between the lost traditional nation culture and the design language in the very epoch in which the design activity and design culture are more and more tending to globalization and homogenization.
