ASSESSMENT OF THE ECOSYSTEM OF COAL MINE CITIES VIA A COMPREHENSIVE EVALUATION MODEL: A CASE STUDY IN HUAIBEI CITY (CHINA)

摘要
In order to analyze their characteristics ecosystem and avoid the fuzziness and randomness during the assessment process, the weights of 18 indicators in four specific ecosystems such as resource, economy, society and environment are got via a new comprehensive evaluation model. The paper found that: 1) the advantage indicators X-14, X-25, X-31 and X-41 have much more influence on coal mine cities' ecosystem; 2) although the whole ecosystem of coal mine cities is mostly in level II and a few in level III, but there are significant characteristics of tortuosity. The findings can help for better understanding of coal mine cities' ecosystem from the perspective of the governance system of modem ecosystems, and then some following governance strategies are got to deal with advantage indicators and available space: strengthening the scientific management, improving the working mechanism and perfecting the material security.
