Surfactant-induced crystallization of polycarbonate

摘要：
The crystallization of polycarbonate in the presence of a surfactant, which requires a less temperature, was investigated. The surfactant Triton X-100 was used to induce crystallization of polycarbonate with a minimum concentration of 11% by annealing at 80°C. The crystallinity of the sample with 13% Triton was measured by x-ray diffraction. It was concluded that in addition to the plasticization effect the spinodal decomposition could also be a contributing factor in the crystallization.
