Spin gap effects on the c-axis and in-plane charge dynamics of high-T-c cuprates

摘要
The spin gap in the normal state is a phenomenon characteristic of high-T-c cuprates in the underdoped regime. The spin gap is apparently connected to the normal-state pseudogap seen in the c-axis optical conductivity and photoemission spectra, and the fundamental features of the cuprates, two-dimensional charge dynamics and reduced Drude spectral weight, result from the spin gap.
