摘要
We consider the Timoshenko system without any internal or boundary damping. The system is rather complemented by a heat equation of an unusual type. This type of thermal diffusion has been introduced by Green and Naghdi. It produces a dissipation of energy only when supplemented by a certain type of damping. In this work we consider the case of a thermo-viscoelastic damping and prove that it is strong enough to drive the system to the equilibrium state in an exponential manner.
