Hopping spin transport: Interplay of spin-orbit coupling, hyperfine interactions, and exchange

摘要
In this study we report on a simulation study of hopping-based spin transport. Our major focus is on the spin diffusion length and its dependence on the relative strengths of spin-orbit coupling, hyperfine interactions, and exchange coupling. The general trends observed in the simulated diffusion length are found to agree with analytical scaling relations proposed in the literature.
