摘要：

Paper deals with the perceived role of accounting in corporate management measured with the use of six variables (among all for instance "speeds up decision making" or "helps to reach higher flexibility") and shows results of the empirical survey presenting the relations with nine parameters of performance (from product quality, through customers and management satisfaction to financial indicators). Spearman Rank correlation was applied as the main statistical method to analyse data from 370 Czech organizations.
