摘要
The microstructural development and dielectric properties of Sr1-xBi2+yTa2O9 ferroelectric ceramics were investigated. Sr1-xBi2+yTa2O9 ceramic powders were prepared by solid state reaction between the corresponding oxides and carbonate, and sintered at 1250 degrees C for 2 h. Bismuth excess compositions promoted the grain growth to elongated and/or plate-like grains with (00l) orientation. The grain sizes of Sr1-xBi2+yTa2O9 ceramics decreased with increasing strontium deficient amount. Bi excess and Sr deficient compositions with Sr0.7Bi2.1Ta2O9 and Sr0.8Bi2.3Ta2O9 gave the best dielectric properties with the dielectric constant of 130, remanent polarization of 5.0 (mu C/cm(2)) and coercive field of 20 (kV/cm).
