Sobolev-type classes of mappings with values in metric spaces

This article proposes an approach to defining Sobolev classes W-p(1)(Omega) of mappings from a Lipschitzian manifold Omega into a metric space. This approach is based on the property of Sobolev classes of real functions to be invariant tinder the compositions with Lipschitz functions.
