Method for reducing ranging error by using error coefficient in ranging system

摘要
This paper presents a method to reduce the ranging error. The accuracy of positioning system depends on the accuracy of ranging to a certain extent. In the TOF based positioning system, the distance is equal to the transmission time multiplied by the transmission speed. The ranging error based on TOF is analyzed. It is found that the air refractive index and the clock offset at the node will cause the ranging error. In this paper, an improved method is proposed. By integrating the air refractive index and the clock offset at the node into an error coefficient, the ranging coefficient formula after reducing the system error is obtained. With this method, the ranging error can be reduced
