摘要
In this paper a mathematical model of induction motor in the case of stator fault is presented. The fault level is modeled by a change of a number of the stator winding turns. Comparison of simulation and experimental results of the converter-fed induction motor for different number of shorted turns is presented. It is shown that the demonstrated mathematical model gives a high accuracy in relation of experimental results and can be used for testing of detection methods of stator faults in induction motor.
