A meshless method using wavelets

摘要：
A new meshless method using wavelets as shape functions based on the weak form is developed. The Lagrange multiplier method are used for imposing the essential boundary conditions. The paper also describes that an addition term, which vanishes in finite element type of methods and are generally ignored in most meshless formulations based on the weak form, must be incorporated in the proposed discrete equations. Detailed numerical results to validate the method are presented.
