摘要
A theoretical approach to the calculation of a diffracted electromagnetic field and to the modeling of magneto-optical images is discussed. This approach is based on the application of dyadic electrodynamic Green functions. It is shown that dyadic Green functions are convenient and powerful theoretical tools. One of their possible applications, the calculation of second-harmonic magneto-optical Kerr effects, is described. Some typical features of intense second-harmonic magneto-optical Kerr effects are studied. (C) 2005 Optical Society of America
