摘要
Shape-controlled platinum nanocrystals are attracting more and more attention due to the high selectivity and reactivity. Colloidal or thermal decomposition method can be used to synthesis platinum nanocrystals enclosed by low index planes including cubes, tetrahedrons, octahedrons and dentrites, etc. Unconventional polyhedrons such as tetrahexahedrons bound by high index planes have also been achieved by electrochemical method. This paper reviews the latest research progress in preparation, characterization and applications of shape-controlled platinum nanocrystals. The factors influencing the stability of platinum nanocrystals are analyzed. Finally, the existing problems in this area are discussed and the future research trends are prospected.
