Simulation and evaluation of condition-based maintenance policies for multi-component continuous-state deteriorating systems

摘要：
In order to take advantage of economies of scale and to lower the total maintenance cost, the maintenance policies for multicomponent systems have to take into account economic dependences (due to setup-costs) between components. This paper presents a condition-based maintenance structure for continuously deteriorating multicomponent systems, which allows to save costs by performing simultaneous maintenance actions. Simulation results are presented to assess the performances of the proposed maintenance policies.
