摘要：

This paper examines the performance of intelligent agents in supply chain management over the Internet, and the characteristics of the agents that enable this performance. We assume, for simplicity, a two-tier structure of supplier and buyer agents in an auction environment. The structure of individual agents is discussed to initiate the functions of agents in the community, and the information flows between agents. In conclusion, a model is proposed for message structure and message passing to enhance the performance.
