摘要
Investigation of the flame stabilization in a swirling flow has been carried out. In non-swirling flow, combustion is carried out in induction mode. Weak swirling of the flow leads to the curvature of the flame and displacement of the combustion zone to the inlet section. The curvature of the flame front in the flow with moderate swirling, exceeds the maximum allowable value, which ensures combustion stabilization, and the flame is extinguished. The intensive swirling leads to formation a recirculation zone in the flow. In this case, hot combustion products in the recirculation zone ignite the combustible mixture entering the channel.
