摘要
A prediction method based on the support vector machine was investigated for forecasting the platoon arriving time and the traffic flow. The effect of the platoon was considered in the prediction process and the phase difference between two intersections can be adjusted by the predicted results to make the artery unblocked. The historical and intraday data were combined to predict the traffic flow. The simulation results with the practical data verify the application and effectiveness of the practical methods.
