A Single-Source Surface Impedance Formulation for Modeling Arbitrary Penetrable Media

摘要
A novel single-source surface integral formulation is proposed for efficient modeling of penetrable media, without the need for dual basis functions. The differential current density concept is leveraged to yield a well conditioned system matrix. The new formulation leads to significantly reduced GMRES iterations compared to existing single-source formulations, over a broad range of frequency and material parameters.
