Optical properties of mixed V/Ce oxide films prepared via inorganic sol-gel route

摘要
New mixed V/Ce films at 55, 38, and 32 at% of V were prepared via inorganic sol-gel route by dip-coating technique. The absorption edge of prepared films shifts towards higher wavelengths at higher concentration of added vanadium pentoxide. The indirect-allowed band gap (E-G) also changes in dependence of added vanadium oxide from 2.8 up to 2.3 eV. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
