摘要
Organophosphonates are key candidates as ligands for the construction of novel functional materials receiving considerable attention in the fields of both fundamental research and industrial application. We comprehensively introduce researching advances of chemically modified metal surfaces by organophosphonates based on Cu, Fe, Al, Mg and their alloys, which will extend the engineering application of organophosphonate-modified metallic materials in industrial fields and civilian sectors.
