摘要
Error analysis was carried out for a set of measured sediment transport data in order to determine the accuracy of these measurements. These measurements were conducted on the Nile River in Egypt at a site located downstream the High Aswan Dam by 288 km. The cross section was divided into six stations. The analysis was performed for the bed and suspended load transport rates for each measured station and for the overall cross section as well. The results showed good accuracy for the measured data. The overall relative error of the bed load transport was 29% for the cross section. The overall relative error of the suspended load transport was 9% for the cross section. These accuracy values are due to the variability of the transport processes along the bed form length.
