摘要
The urban river water pollution is a serious problem. For better understanding of the pollution factors, a simple and accurate evaluation method is needed. In this paper, principal component analysis is used. Along an urban river 8 monitoring sites are selected and 7 pollution factors, including CODcr, TN, TP, NH3-N, NO3-N, pH and DO, is analyzed, by computation, two principal components are selected to reflect the overall pollution factors, an equation is established to make an comprehensive evaluation through the chosen principal components, compares the result with the original data and shows PCA is a reliable method for water pollution evaluation.
