摘要
A simple and efficient catalytic procedure for the synthesis of 14-aryl-14H-dibenzo[a,j]xanthene is reported. Tungsten heteropoly acid catalysts are used both in bulk or supported on silica gel under solvent-free conditions at 100 degrees C. Good yields and short reaction time are advantages of this new method. (C) 2007 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
