摘要：

Using a pair of Linux routers and a link-delay queueing discipline to simulate long packet transmission times, a small network testbed that approximated the behavior of a satellite connection without a large investment in cost or energy was developed. The resultant testbed, referred to as the Drexel Network Toolkit, was used successfully in a project to evaluate satellite-based IP delivery for multimedia applications in telemedicine and telemaintenance.
