摘要：
Asserting something believed true requires courage in view of the risks it poses. Foucault studies this kind of statement as parresia during his courses in the Eighties, seizing its twine with the issues of discourse, power and subjet. This paper aims to outline the function of parresia within the foucauldian discourse analysis and its role in power and subjectivation dynamics.
