摘要
The microstructure and texture evolution of AZ91 magnesium alloy that is compressed at 400 degrees C and 1.0 s(-1) are studied by electron back-scattered diffraction patterns (EBSP). During the compression process, the recrystallized grains nucleate along the pre-existing grain boundaries. The fraction of low angle boundaries with misorientation of 2-4 degrees decreases, while that with misorientation of more than 4 degrees increases. The basal plane gradually rotates to about 90 degrees to the compression direction. (c) 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
