摘要
Influence of wearing time on the frictional wear characteristics of the cast iron-cast iron Friction Pair in the self-repairing additive were investigated by using MMU-5G end-face friction and wear testing machine, and it's mechanism was analyzed The surface images of friction pair and their chemical composition were detected by using SEM and EDS. The result indicates friction time has a great influence on frictional wear characteristics of the cast iron-cast iron friction pair in the Self-repairing additive. The friction coefficient of the friction pair has fallen into an ideal numerical value at 2.5 hours; the mass of samples have increased as a result of self-repairing additive filling into the samples surface. For the cast iron-cast iron friction pair in the self-repairing additive, the study indicates that metallographic structure and mechanical performance of cast iron are the mostly causation resulting in no Self-repair coatings on the cast iron worn surface, the self-repairing additive has remarkable effect on antifriction and wear resistance of cast iron.
