Inflationary cosmological model in Kaluza-Klein spacetime

摘要
An exact cosmological solution is obtained in a six-dimensional Kaluza-Klein type of spacetime for a homogeneous distribution of fluid obeying an equation of state p = rho, where p is the isotropic pressure in the three-space and p the mass density of the fluid. Encouraging to point out that our model exhibits exponential expansion of the three-space while, depending on the signature of an arbitrary constant, the extra dimensions either expand or show the desirable feature of contraction with time.
