The meaning of scientific heritage of Karl Marx in the field of social philosophy ideas is considered in this paper from the point of view of their further development and implementation to contemporary problems. Author approaches to the scientific heritage of Karl Marx as to the theory obligatory assuming the critic and the self-critic of conclusions, which the theory are contained. The significance of the theory determined, therefore, not by the capacity to ascertain the "eternal and immutable verities", but by the possibility to make the prognosis of social development based on this theory. From that point of view in the scientific heritage of Karl Marx are contain a number of long-term historical forecasts, which received the brilliant confirmation in our time. Among them there are the significant increase of creative (especially scientific) activity in the sphere of production, the tendency to displacement of human from immediate process of production, the exacerbation of conflict between human and nature etc. The development of the ideas of Karl Marx in the contemporary Marxism give us the good theoretical foundation for the understanding of the main contradiction of the modern age.
