PROFESSIONAL AND APPLIED PHYSICAL TRAINING IN LAW ENFORCEMENT STUDENTS

摘要
Aim. The paper aims to justify the content of a comprehensive integral physical training program that contributes to forming professionally important qualities and psychological readiness in law enforcement students. Materials and methods. Our comprehensive integral physical training program was developed and implemented in the curriculum of the Institute of Law at South Ural State University. 105 students took part in the experiment. The research problem was studied by means of theoretical and empirical methods. Methodological base included both logical and empirical methods such as psychological tests, questionnaires, expert assessment, content interpretation, and pedagogical observation, as well as specific scientific methods: comparative legal method, statistical analysis, analysis of legal acts and scientific literature. Results. The implementation of a comprehensive integral training program was performed during the research work, which resulted in significant positive changes in general and special physical fitness. Moreover, students from the experimental group demonstrated better psychological resistance. Conclusion. A comprehensive integral program for professional and applied physical training in law enforcement students is fully consistent with the normative documents of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in terms of combat, physical and psychological training of law enforcement officers and confirms the correct method of organizing professional training by means of physical education.
