Analysis of round foundation on composite foundation

摘要：
In this paper, to make the stress and strain at the pole of round slab(r=0) under arbitrarily load no longer discontinuous and undeterminable, two groups of displacement functions are suggested to express the displacement of round slab and that of the soil beneath and around the slab respectively. By using this method the analysis of round slab on composite foundation is carried with the column and soil being considered as anisotropic medium. Finally Some calculating examples are given.
